BACKSTORY
Campbell grew up in Australia, part of a big family, and enjoyed playing sport, watching movies and going to the beach. He loved rugby and played halfback for his school, club, city and state. A viewing of Apocalypse Now, and its accompanying Hearts of Darkness documentary, got him hooked on a new passion. After ‘retiring’ from rugby, and graduating from university with a business degree, Campbell spent several years in London and Sydney working in banking, studying filmmaking and seeing the world. He returned home to Brisbane to work in production on commercials and films. Campbell’s the proud father of two high schoolers and has lived in LA since 2006.
